The Perkins House is truly a home away from home. Gretchen & Keith have created a beautiful bed and breakfast with their attention to detail in their seasonal decor, lush gardens, the warm and inviting living areas, grand dining room, spotless bedrooms and bathrooms and various cozy outdoor areas perfect for lounging, sipping a tea or visiting with guests. Their service and food is an absolute labor of love! The home’s location is perfect in quant Cornish - locally owned shops and restaurants within walking distance. Our family looks forward to staying in the Carriage House every year, an experience we always cherish.

An absolute gem! We had a wonderful experience here for 2 nights. This B&B truly feels like a home that has been meticulously cared for and spectacularly decorated (10/10 Halloween flair!!). Our room and amenities were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast every morning was delicious and delightful - a great way to start any day! Gretchen and Keith are wonderful hosts and made the experience very enjoyable. Highly recommend the Perkins House and hope to be back! An added bonus - the location was perfect. We enjoyed an easy walk to the main street. Within a short driving distance, we found beautiful scenery, hikes, and parks to enjoy. Great for enjoying New England Autumns!

My wife and I recently stayed at The Perkins House in Cornish, ME, and we were thrilled that we chose it! The room we stayed in was very cozy and warm, and the breakfast each morning was amazing! Owners Keith and Gretchen were very welcoming, and Keith made the fantastic breakfasts! Both were very friendly and personable, and we had some wonderful conversations with them. Gretchen is quite the decorator, and the yard and the house were totally decked out in all things Halloween! Finally, the house is conveniently located to covered bridges, the Conway Scenic Railway, the Kanc Hiway, and many other locations!

Absolutely loved it here, the atmosphere is superb a lot to look at, the food is spectacular, the service impeccable. A great place for relaxation. Gretchen and Keith are absolutely wonderful, and their little dog dolce is such a sweet little mascot. 😁😁😁😁😁

This was a wonderful stay with incredible hospitality. Cozy rooms, great vibes, and a history lesson at the same time - great for the visiting history nerd. Breakfast was icing on the cake. Will definitely return. Thank you Gretchen!

Just spent the night at the Perkins House with Gretchen & Keith. Great location and the breakfast was wonderful. We had a smaller room, but it was adequate The owners were very nice and had a great history of the house. Would highly recommend a visit.

The Perkins House is pure perfection — a charming, elegant bed & breakfast that captures the magic of small-town Maine while offering the comfort and warmth of home. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted by beautifully landscaped gardens that look like something out of a storybook — lush, colorful, and lovingly maintained. Each season brings a new touch of beauty: vibrant blooms in summer, festive autumn touches, and cozy, tasteful holiday décor in winter. One of the best parts is the location — just a short, pleasant walk to downtown Cornish, where you’ll find wonderful shops, local restaurants like Krista’s and that quintessential New England charm. But honestly, you may never want to leave once you’ve experienced breakfast at The Perkins House. It’s truly second to none — thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious, on par with anything a Michelin chef could dream up. Every bite feels crafted with care. I couldn’t be prouder of my brother and his wife for creating such a special place. The Perkins House is more than just a B&B — it’s a labor of love, a welcoming retreat, and a shining example of Maine hospitality at its finest.

We enjoyed our one night stay at the Perkins House. Attending a wedding about 15 minutes away, we were lucky to find this place. The bed was super comfortable, breakfast was absolutely delicious, and we felt very welcome. We wish we had more time to explore the property, but did enjoy our time on the expansive and comfortable front porch in the evening following the wedding. Everything was also impeccably clean, which was amazing given the numerous decorations/elements found in every corner. If back in the area we wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

What a marvelous, wholesome, and profoundly charming place. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warmth that immediately set the tone for the stay! The Perkins House feels like staying in a museum and a family friend’s home simultaneously. There is an astonishing level of detail and care woven into every single corner, offering endless nooks to look at and explore. It is apparent that Keith knows how to treat guests, transforming a simple overnight stop into an experience in and of itself. You do not merely stay at the Perkins House; you inhabit a living piece of art and hospitality. If I am ever back in the area, I will go out of my way just to show my friends and family this absolute gem of a place!
